The Golden Mile #10478
Once in a while, rarely, snow comes early with the Fall leaves still on the trees and it makes a true wonderland out through the countryside. This stand of golden maples lining a country back road in winter snow made a nearly magical display with their strong splash of luminous color against the white.
I didn’t see many others out there that day and could take my time to shoot this bit of natural magic. Unfortunately, the weight of the snow can knock down many branches as you can see here.
