A high rocky tower stands apart from the massive cliffs along the Lake Superior shoreline. Parts of this tower have already come loose and fallen, with massive pieces jutting out of the lake water below. Soon the entire tower will fall too. To give a sense of scale, the trees topping the cliffs were sixty to seventy feet tall here.
