Upward Path #14290
This is Rainbow Falls and it lies in a small park near my home in central Pennsylvania. I photographed off a wooden bridge in the rain to have the yellow leaves saturate and the falls fill in more. The title is from the stone steps leading up beside the falls that become a path up the mountain. Apparently, it’s a place for hikers to fill their canteens or for simply cooling off some hot feet; maybe it’s just a place for kids to simply splash around, and why not? All seasons have something very special about them, and I love the golden times of fall.
