The Story

Two Arabian horses walking in fresh snow side by side, a mare and a stallion cutting fresh tracks through the winter white as they go. We had them running earlier in another pasture where they had tired out. Horses love new snow just like many people do and they put on a show! When they settled down, we moved them to this paddock that had clean unbroken snow to create a different kind of photograph.

But all through the shooting, they kept close together and never went far apart. This pair had been bonded together as barnmates and friends; horses usually stay close to their favorites.
