A wide green swath made from a flying gallon of paint has left it’s mark on this bedroom door; interior vandalism at it’s finest. I found the lid-less gallon paint tin off to the side. There were some toys scattered on the floor in this upstairs bedroom of a ghost town house, and one was this little white bear laying in front of the door. It had lost the little girl who loved it. To me, this composition as found seemed like a strong statement about being alone in a harsh world…and of course, I had to create an image of it. This one is admittedly a little wrenching, but it is also unique and different with a strong story open to interpretation. Please, go right ahead.

I’m Andy Dierks from Altoona, which lies in the center of Pennsylvania, yet these website galleries hold images from 22 different states. There are travels past, and more are yet to be…come and ride along.
