Black And White Landscape
I began with a camera years ago as a hobbyist taking landscape pictures. Since then, there’s been quite a range of things photographed but I’ve never lost that love for the land. In fact, the land is why I started into being a shooter.
I certainly love color imagery, but later a deep natural attraction to black and white infrared led to another approach to landscape photography entirely. An average landscape in color is one thing. Taken in black and white or false-color infrared, it can be more. Something is created that is far different, fascinating, and more interesting.
You’ll enter another world altogether working in a medium like black and white, be it infrared or the traditional. It’s a totally new way of seeing the usual and our world reemerges changed. To me, that was a breath of fresh air and very captivating.
I hope you’ll enjoy this unusual take on the land and water done in a different way. All the pictures here are available on metal, canvas, or matted paper with the usual free shipping. ~Andy
