Farmland Windmills #13975

The Story
Here are wind towers high above countryside cornfields on a beautiful summer afternoon. The sun lights the golden tassels on the strips of ripening corn while fair-weather clouds lace the blue sky above them.
At this distance, the swoosh of the slowly spinning blades couldn’t be heard from where I stood. Being very tall, they look to be close by but they are not.
Arguably, wind farms can be things of beauty when they lie in some wonderful scenery such as this location in rural Pennsylvania. They don’t distract me, they amaze. These giant machines represent care for our Mother Earth and regard for how much we can affect our planet, for better or worse.
