The Story
The stone foundation corner of the big red Delaplaine barn on the grounds of the Claggett Center near Frederick, Maryland. It is Seneca red limestone and was quarried nearby back in the day. In the full barn restoration, it was reused. Also shown in detail here is the painted cedar vertical siding.
