The Story

Farming in the upper Wisconsin scenery: hay bales in a freshly cut summer field waiting to be picked up as even more green grows up from beneath, all under a beautiful sunny sky.

I exhibited several times at one of the largest art shows in the midwest in Minneapolis MN and would travel through Wisconsin on the long trip to get there, always enjoying the scenery.

Upper Wisconsin scenery can show a person a lot of great farmland out the backroads, so I found this view on a welcome meander away from being too long on the interstate. The little country side trip made for a good break from staring down yet another four-lane road! This picture is a simple farmland shot, but clearly one of country peace on a gorgeous day.
