The Story
Surrounded by bare trees and mountains, Amish corn shocks from the Fall harvest are stacked in the newly fallen snow in a winter farming valley. It’s March, and the snow is likely the last of the season before Spring arrives and everything renews. The bareness of winter is easily seen in this photograph, and the same scene in spring will be full and lush.
