The Story

Under a moonless night, decorative neon lights across the side of a theater make for a colorful fine art abstract photographed at night.

When I found this multiplex theater fully glowing in the black of night like some just-landed alien spaceship, my broken tripod was of no use to make the needed long exposures. But, the parking lot had large palm trees growing in the islands. I wrapped myself around their trunks as tightly as possible to get unblurred images and held my breath. While getting strange looks from the theater goers, it worked for about half the pictures, the rest were too blurry to use. Nevertheless, getting anything under those conditions could be termed a success! I hope you enjoy these neon light pictures!
