The Story

This old Northwest crane body and her rusty sisters are lining a road in a very large heavy equipment junkyard. This place specializes in this sort of machinery, mainly lifting equipment. There were three or more acres of nothing but stacked crane boom sections here as well. You can see another old operational Bucyrus Erie crane with its lifted boom on the hill behind, standing like an overlooking sentinel.

There are many of these older machines out there that need parts and rebuilding. As a result, the market for this supplier actually extends around the world. The curious orange part standing up is a lifting pulley used as a marker and signpost to navigate this very large junkyard.
