The Story

No sled riding down this hill, no matter how inviting! I never trespass to photograph. It is always better to ask first and it can often lead to an invitation to shoot further, believe it or not. That’s often true and happened more than once. In this case, there was no one to ask concerning this rural field, but all I was interested in was a broad landscape view anyway.

Generally, if you can shoot from public property like the road berm here, you’re good, and that would suit just right this time. I made a few frames off to the right without the Keep Out sign in view, but I couldn’t pass up on a storytelling image the sign in the picture might make.
