Pennies From Heaven #13062

The Story
Pennies laid on a cloud photograph and shot in the studio is just an old but cool photography trick using water droplets on a pane of glass. It’s all done in one shot without any Photoshop slice and dice. You could even do this with a film camera if desired. Sky blue with the saturated copper color of new pennies is very enjoyable, as well as the randomness of it all. Taken altogether, it raises a lot of curiosity and makes a wonderful visual splash. I’ve even tried the same kind of shot using clear Karo syrup instead of water. Once. Monthly Newsletter sign-up at the Dierks Photo page on Facebook.
