Distant sailboats can be seen on the silver waters under a stunning sunset above Lake Michigan while a fantasy of colors and clouds arch overhead. Looking westward, that polychromatic display was slowly turning into the darkness of night behind where I stood on the shore. The sliver waters rolled low waves like large ripples right to my feet, reflecting the clouds above.
